Online learning

Online learning

A powerful Virtual Learning Environment

As an integral part of our Executive Education programmes, course participants automatically gain access to Moodle, Cass's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

By logging in to the Moodle online interface, delegates can access and submit materials from home, workplace, any computer lab or café and indeed anywhere in the world.

Participants can access content in advance of their programme, including details of key reading, a glossary, a brief overview of the topics being covered and an explanation of how that fits into the overall framework of learning. This enables groups from diverse technical backgrounds to prepare for, and gain maximum benefit from, our programmes.

Participants can use Moodle to manage their workload, reinforce their learning and be supported even when on the move. It can also be used as an online networking tool, offering delegates a platform to communicate and share ideas with Cass faculty and industry practitioners, as well as each other.

Your own Moodle

If required, we can create a customised Virtual Learning Environment for your programme. This can include a range of different elements, such as:

  • Interactive learning materials, including a clear outline and framework for the programme, structured study guides and appropriate reading material
  • Exercises and other self-assessment activities, case studies and review questions for group discussion
  • Useful web links and internet resources
  • Academic support via Q&A and discussion forums
  • Coursework submission and tutor feedback
  • Cass electronic library resources
  • A student cafe/network for exchanging ideas and sharing experiences.
